Okay, I don't have many excuses for this fic except for my muse is weird and "blesses" me with new stories that have nothing to do with "Overwhelmed" sometimes.
For this, fanfic_bakeoff is back online and is doing a new thing where there are two prompts (one spicy and one sweet) and the competition is between the prompts, not the teams. For the rest of this month, the prompts are Trick (spicy) and Treat (sweet).
I was idly minding my business one morning trying to quit worrying and go back to sleep when I thought about the "Trick" prompt. My muse immediately perks up and starts screaming, "HEY! HEY! Remember in Full Metal Panic: The Second Raid when Sousuke almost slept with that prostitute that looked like Kaname?! He was her TRICK!"
And near-porn was born. I wanted to explore what was going on in his head. (Un)fortunately, TSR is not my favorite (it's just so dark at times), so my memory was foggy. So I took to Hulu and watched all my favorite parts of the second season for it's intense shippiness and, of course, the scene in question. It was as heartbreaking and fraught as I remembered. Angsty gold! Thus, this little drabble was born.
