It feels like a good time for a REAL update. No more of these one liners. My weekend was fairly eventful. I stayed in Friday night since I had to work early on Saturday. I ended up watching some Nip/Tuck for a while and then John, Kevin and Kerry stopped by to ask if they could watch a movie in my room. I always enjoy company so I said yes. We watched Equiliburium and just hung out for a while. I actually went to sleep before 1 which is pretty impressive.
I woke up the next morning strangely enough NOT to my alarm clock OR my cell phone ringing telling me that I was an hour late for work. Turns out I set my alarm but I forgot to actually turn it on. They didn't even realize I was suppose to be there. It wasn't all that busy anyways so it wasn't a big deal. Of course the person that was supposed to open at Law called in sick or whatever, so since the International Center wasn't busy they sent me over to law. I was by myself the whole afternoon, but I managed to keep myself busy for most of the time. I was out of work by 4. Just in time to watch state get completely creamed by OSU which was pretty much inevitable anyways. Most of us couldn't even stomach to watch the game and ended up watching the Tigers game cause at least they are winning and are now in the world series. I watched a movie with Maria and pretty much hung out with Kevin and various other people for the rest of the day. I went to Potbellies with Kevin and Theresa and I then came back to straighten my hair and go to sleep so I could get up even earlier the next morning.
Today I was up before the sun even rose to get ready for the golf outing. It ended up being a fabulous day despite the chill. It was nice to be able to acutally hang out with the rest of Stars as a group. Other then meetings I really haven't gotten to get to know any of them so today was really nice. I didn't end up haveing to be outside all day like I thought I was going to be. Half of the time I was in the clubhouse socializing, the other Half I was out with Carmeron at the Betting Hole. We brought in about $5,000 in one days event which I am amazed by. Especially with it being our first year doing this event and half of us not having a single clue what we were doing. The years following will be so much more successful. Not to say that this year wasn't successful. $5,000 is enough to completely grant one childs wish. I came back from the golf outing in time to watch the Steelers FINALLY get back on their game. Granted it was only the Chiefs, but it is nice to see a win again. Although sadly with 8 min left in the 4th quarter CBS decided the game wasn't exciting enough and switched over to the Dolphins game. After the game I went out with Kevin, Mike, Trevor, and Maria to see Man of the Year. Definatly a good movie. I flipped out on Mike on the way back. He was being and idiot and driving wrecklessly which after my accident this summer I will not tolerate idiotic drivers. I was all sarcastic and said "woo, yeah car accidents are fun! They cost like thousands of dollars and danger people's lives". I kinda felt bad for flipping out like that but it seemed to get the job done. After that he was good the whole way back.
All in All it was a good weekend.
