My poor abandoned Merlin fic & cancelled vampire shows
Well, let me see...it's been over a month since I've worked on my Merlin fic. I've been so busy that I've been too short of time and energy to write.
However, I have watched all the episodes of two cancelled tv shows about vampires lol! Namely, Blood Ties and Moonlight. I wouldn't say they were the best tv ever made, but they were good fun and reminded me of how much I love the vampire myth, and got me thinking again about the original fiction vampire-hunting saga I've been plotting on & off for the past decade. I might scribble something down for it, but it's such a big, on-going project that I'd rather focus on fanfiction at this point in my life.
I'll have more free time from now on and I'm keen to get back into my Merlin fic. I've just re-read the prologue and I'm still reasonably satisfied, or at least I can't think of a better way to put anything. I changed only two words. I need to get cracking on chapter one and get the story rolling, but I'm probably best watching an episode first to get my head back into Merlin mode. Perhaps tomorrow.
