I'm finally home from my trip. It was long, and I wish I could have stayed here, but it was still good.
We went to Rocky Mtn Nat'l Park for like 3 nights and went horseback riding and went to a Rodeo in Frasier, Colorado. It was crazy cold, and lots of fun. Then we were off to Mesa Verde National Park where the Cliff Dweller peoples lived... in crazy houses like this:
Yep, we took a tour down in there. And I'm a lil afraid of heights sometimes, so I was kind of freaking out a bit... but it was amazing. And then we were off to Lake Powell in Page, Arizona. It was hotter then Hell there. I don't think it got below 105 at night. We were there for my birthday. It was good. This lake is HUGE and out in the middle of NOWHERE! We went for a flat trip down the Colorado River and saw awesome petroglyphs
They were amazing. And we got to go swimming in the river where it was literally like 50 degrees. It was flipping freezing for a lil bit but then it was ok cause it was so hot out of the water. On my birthday we went to Bryce Canyon and went horseback riding into the canyon which was beautiful. Then we were off to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon which is a completely different story from the South Rim. It was like 20 or 30 degrees cooler there and really amazing. After that we were supposed to go to Death Valley Nat'l Park in Cali, but we decided it was too far a drive and too hot there, so we went to Vegas for a night instead. We stayed at the Las Vegas Hilton:
OMFG. It was amazing. We had an awesome Japanese dinner and walked down the main strip. The parental units had a bit too much to drink and were quite, uhm.... loose. I've never seen my parents that crazy. And mom and dad stopped in one place where there was Frank Sinatra music was playing for some water show, and just started dancing in the street. It was so cute. Then we went to Yosemite Nat'l Park where they have huge trees, a huge bear problem, and LOTS of mosquitoes. Then we strted home and on the way back we stopped in Texas to visit some relatives and in TN to help my brother move into his new apartment there and today we finally got home, and I'm so happy. I missed everyone here a lot. And I finally got a decent shower and feel CLEAN and non-smelly. It's good to be home.
I also got to do a lot of thinking while I was gone, so I guess that's good. I realized there are some things I need to stop doing and things I needs to start doing and people I need to start hanging out with again and people I need to apologize to. I've been a real bitch this past year and I apologize for that. Especially to Jessica Self. I'm sorry. I realized how much I missed the fun we had last summer. There were some crazy times. I apologize for getting so pissed off when I had pretty much no right to. Your personal life is your business, not mine. I usually don't apologize about stuff like this, but I realized I need to, whether you accept this apology or not. I am sorry. I understand if you don't accept this, but I hope you will. I hope I haven't completely ruined our friendship.
Laura Seel, Jessica Chi, Amy Williams, Phil Lawrence, Katy Clark, Kyleigh... I miss us hanging out like madcrazywhoa. We used to have some amazing times!! And you all know it. Maybe not at the same time, but we definately had some awesome times. We need to hang out again.
Travis Then, Beka, Will, Will, Brandon, Brandon, Julie, everyone I can't think of cause of my extended stay in a car over the past month... WE SHOULD REALLY START HANGING OUT CAUSE YOU GUYS ARE FLIPPING AWESOME!!
Amy Bacon, Phil, Steph, Erica, AHSLEY! We need to hang out a lot more. End of story.
So yeah. I need to go on a diet and start working out a LOT more. I need to do my 5 art projects that are due the 29th of August. I need to finish my Gold Award and do my summer reading. I need to stop a lot of my bad habits. We'll leave it at that since there are a lot.
Tomorrow I'm going for Erica's Senior Portraits. I'm really excited. :)
