Oh craziness. The world is craziness, isn't it? My thoughts are swirling with calls that I have taken all day with people talking all frustrated and last night's Big Brother episode and talking with Deborah and blah blah blah. I'd like to throw it all up. Or pull them out like that silver thing that came out of people's heads in the Harry Potter movies. Extract!
Let's see...I just had a caller who complained about...man I'd like to say...but it's all confidential. I'll just say that even I wouldn't have met her standards. Standards. "Those morals, ethics, habits, etc., established by authority, custom, or an individual as acceptable."
I do not accept you. What's the opposite of accept? Reject? Yep. That's what it is. The dictionary told me.
"to express a determination not to" No wonder that urban legend is still running around about how the brain doesn't understand telling it to NOT do something. It is very counterintuitive.
In other news that is not not news...Kit is out of town this weekend. Oh, hey, we went to the Duluth Huskies baseball game this past Monday and not only did they win but we won too - a pizza from Sammy's! It was exciting to hear his name over the loud speaker. We made (did?) a high five.
Oh, and I got my crazy elliptical machine. It took me two hours to get it out of the box. Putting it together myself makes me not want to get on it now. I did get on it and use it, but it still sort of freaks me out.
