Just a quick post from my tiny new computer that has pretty much nothing on it yet. There will be some acclimation pains (the keys are set up just so, and not exactly "staggered" enough from one another--not to mention are tinier, and arranged just differently enough that I have to pause to make sure I'm correctly hitting the shift key), but I'm already pretty anxious to be carting around a two-and-a-half pound computer instead of its older cousin.
It is, however, the tipping point that will convince me that I am in dire need of a wireless router. So I'll probably go shopping for one of those within the week. The other trade-off is the relatively small hard drive space, but if I'm judicious in my purpose for this machine and the programs that I choose to install on it, we should get along juuust fine.
And here's hoping, once I get used to the location of keys like the quotation mark and hyphen, that I'll have a powerful new write-anywhere device, and be a little more productive in my recreational writing!
