99% of the music that Chris masters is either not my cup of tea or, uh, not particularly interesting or good, in my opinion. Lanterns on the Lake are an exception to this. They're a Newcastle band, and the first band I've felt I could fall in love with for a long time.

Last night Chris and I went to go see the other Chris play a set down by the Quayside at Stereo, which is like 100 other little bar/clubs in downtown Newcastle. Nice enough, but their bar staff are either not very bright or suffer hearing damage from loud music, because I wanted a vodka and tonic twice and ended up with a gin and tonic each time.
