I hope Scott Gomez gets the AIDS.
I woke up this morning hoping that yesterday was all just one bad dream (the hockey part, not the other parts, just to clarify), but it wasn't. The shock that Scott Gomez has traded in his black and red to head across the river to play with the Rangers has set in. I am livig, what a backstabber with not loyalty, out of all 30 teams to go to this was the worst. I can't wait to go to a Devils/Rags game this season.
The Devils lost their top All-Star D-man and their #1 center and have yet to do anything about it. I wan starting to lose my blind faith in Lou...I need to stop drinking the Kool Aid.
This weekend was good, I wish it didn't end with me feeling uber sick, but it was still good. The beach was awesome, very few things make me as happy as laying on the beach for hours at a time. Last night I saw the Ataris and they were great, I got to hear "I.O.U. One Galaxy" and "So Long Astoria," so I was a happy camper. And I got to hang out with Chad, which is always a good time.
Anyways, here is hoping that the 2007-08 NHL season doesn't come anytime soon, it isn't looking too good for the Devils. :/
