I was at the Odyssey today for Time and Music, ENCORE (the cast choir and orchestra)'s fundraiser cabaret. A couple of hosts on keyboards, lots of solo songs, some really good voices, some impressive piano playing. A traipse through the ages from way back when musical theater music was popular music to Lady Gaga. My favorites (that I remember titles of: there were others I liked and would love to sing, but damnit the program doesn't have composers)? For Good from Wicked (of course.) and, to my surprise, Gaga's Speechless. It was a nice night out. (Until Illuminations started going over the last song, haha.)
