I like this one because at variety shows I tend to prefer to keep things upbeat if not strictly happy, and it being from '79 gives it a Parental Bonus for those who don't recognize Duffy.

I've been wanting to perform this for a while. Mom suggested doing a slow song vs. upbeat Mercy. The style is totally different from Mercy and everyone'd get Mood/Genre Whiplash. Less Parental Bonus, and the Spanish would weird out the Camp Rockers. (The Spanish is actually what I like about it. It just sounds so much classier when hardly anyone can understand it than the cheesy English lyrics. Even though this is nearly a direct translation.) Plus, I often tend to do Disney pop rubbish at Filipino things; I don't want to be That Chick Who Mostly Sings Disney.
