Last night at Rangers me,
Hans, and Mary were acting out a bit from
shoebox_project and as was inevitable me and Johanna ended up holding hands. We seem to do that a lot - Rose and Jack, Sirius and Minerva... *facepalm*
I can't remember if I mentioned this earlier or not, but I'm making a boyband with Johanna,
Chris, and Nicola!
Sophie was in the band UNTIL SHE QUIT so I replaced her with Nicola. We shall be awesome. We still need a name though, it's just that Hans is on exam bloody leave so we don't see her, sob, sob. But the Mary's girls being on leave means that I get more of Chris' food! Yay for freeloaded food!
Caryl [at Rangers]: "I have jelly." *holds up jelly, smirking*
Mary/Johanna: *that's nice, dear type smiles*
Johanna: "...that's Chris' jelly."
Caryl: "Yes. ...I forgot to eat it."
On Monday in Health we had a look at photos of people with STD's genitals. I was all like "this photo's grainy" and random crap like that assessing the photo's artistic merits, but actually I was quite highly disturbed, I was seriously considering moving to the convent (there's one just down the road from school!) and becoming a nun, despite the whole agnostic thing.
You know what bliss is? It's an astoundingly blue morning listening to U2 in heavy townbound traffic with the sun on your eyes, no sign of wind, and no exams. That was yesterday morning. It was lovely. And I came close this morning, listening to Steven covering U2. I really love With Or Without You - U2. I'd like U2's 80s CD for Christmas. (And so people don't get me the same thing, I'll be dropping several hints like this until like December the 20th, haha.)
As freaky as this sounds, I really liked the English exam. My first sentence (paragraph) on the 'about 250 words' Response to Text was 70 words (yet it made sense, har har). The essay went a bit mad, it was pretty much a no-gesture, no-rebuttal, no-conjunction debate speech, with honestly a bit too much humor and sheer randomosity to be truly formal. With the topic 'appearance and packaging count for everything', I managed to make reference to Chris (When people find out I have a boyfriend, usually the first question on their lips is, "Is he hot?"), Ancient Rome (Even in Ancient Rome, society had a large focus on appearance... [...] ...the Romans made a lot of mistakes, most of which have been remedied over the years, except for this focus on appearances. If anything, it has grown stronger...), AND NZ Idol! Hell, I cited where my Sir Howard Morrison quote was from, and gave a date (Sir Howard Morrison was quoted in October 16th 2005 Sunday Star Times as saying Rosita Vai was "too fat to be famous"...)! Honestly, that takes talent. The talent of relating everything to anything. If I don't get Excellence I think I'll go fake cry on someone's shoulder.
Textiles was tortuous and Brady, that bint, wouldn't let us study (instead I had an argument with Sarah's bobbin as mine's disappeared). However me, Talia, Sophie, and
Beau had a rather fun and silly study at lunch in which I got so many invisible stars I should have twinkled.
Science was not so good, I kind of bombed on the Chemistry...
Exam: Lithium, sodium, and potassium are in the same group on the periodic table. Explain what they have in common.
Caryl: [WHAT THE HELL? WERE WE SUPPOSED TO HAVE MEMORIZED THE TABLE? MEEP!] *leaves blank*
Sophie [later]: "I put they were all highly reactant!"
Caryl: "AUGH!"
Chris: "Lithium, sodium, and potassium all have one electron in their outer shells!"
Caryl: "ARGH."
Chris: "Aw, poor you." *hugs*
...and a bit less so on Human Reproduction (we got asked about the Pill! we didn't do anything about the Pill! I hate interpretation questions!). I'm hoping for Merits and the Astronomy credits.
I met Chris' mum today, which wasn't so nervewracking as I didn't have time to get nervous, she just turned up and Chris was like "Hi, Mum." She was very nice, and I managed to say more than two words to her. I like her.
