Where would you like to meet?
[ A little worried. ] Is the ticking bothering you very much? Perhaps you should get a pet, or invite another person to live near you. I hear those help.
It's... [ driving him insane. ] I've been through worse. Not sure I can give a pet as much time as it would deserve; not with training at the hospital.
[ There's just a chuckle before he switches his device off and slides it into his pocket. Yeah, the period dress is a big clue, and so he heads on over. ]

...Yeah, I wouldn't mind. 'snot like the mistletoe is out anymore, and it'd be better than all this ticking.

Still, if you do not enjoy the ticking, and I do not think anyone would, truly, perhaps you should remedy the situation.

[ There's a slight sigh. ] Yeah, probably should. Not sure I like most people enough to live with 'em, though. I'll figure somethin' out.

[ Amused now: ] Well, I would ask your age, but that would be rather impolite.

[ There's a slight chuckle. ] I did the same to you, so I'll offer it. I'm 31.

I did not mean to imply that you were impolite.

But never mind that, Tessa's arrived at the fountain. You'll recognise her by the period dress, of course. ]
