If we'd gone to Tampa Bay Comic Con, we would have been leaving Kentucky today for the final leg of the trip home. It was definitely an interesting event. The promoters had been handed a big basket of lemons when the DeltaPlex was closed right after they'd done vendor sign-ups for this year's event -- but they managed to make quite a sweet lemonade out of the sudden change of venue, bringing the event to a neighboring community to the south of Grand Rapids ( Read more... )

Even with the inauspicious beginning, setting up in a snowstorm and then having to drive over treacherous snow-packed roads to return to our hotel, Hall of Heroes Comic Con was a success. Today was the first day of Grand Rapids Comic Con. We've finished setting up and started selling. We're at booths 507-511 in the Vendor Hall.
