Unless the weather really surprises us around Halloween, I think we've seen the last of summer weather. Here in Lawrence, about an hour west of KC, we've been fluctuating between summer weather and fall weather, often day by day. Some days get up to the low nineties, others to the seventies; some early mornings have fallen to the forties, others to the mid-sixties. I check my weather app before going out.

Yep - roller coaster weather, as I call it. However, the general trend is now downward, with more cooler weather and less hot weather.
