Good question. I think I'd probably at least try to spend it with the person that I'd kill to spend time with the most right now. I've sort of screwed it up by being irresponsible and forgetting to call him before passing out with a full stomach after a long, tiring day. There's no telling what he thinks, because I told him I was eating sometime around 8 and then passed out. I had been sitting up (barely) at the computer and slid out of the chair, then I woke up with cricks in my neck and my back. He knows that I had "rescued" one of my best friends from her now-ex-boyfriend's house since he packed up her stuff all because we slipped off to her Mom's and back. Her sister had gotten ill and wanted to go to the hospital but because her mom and brother weren't home and she didn't want to go on the ambulance (she wanted a friend or relative to take her because she didn't want to be alone), the medic was trying to convince her to get the insurance card and go ahead on to the hospital. Her vitals were concerning him...which isn't good. So, my friend called me to come scoop her up and take her, and if she wound up having to go with her sister to the hospital she would just borrow a cell to let me know she was home safely or to ask me to pick her up in town and take her home. He understood this, but he told me that if I pulled something similar again, he'd disappear again and this time it would be more than just one day. He said he's tired of trying to get ahold of me and that the cell phone was supposed to be the magic trick that straightened out this mess but so far its only pissed him off because I hardly ever answer it.
