**UPDATE** I started my weight loss journey last year, May 31, 2003. And from then through April 19th of this year I had lost 79.5 lbs. Pretty good I thought...and I was feeling great!! As of today.....I have managed to regain a total of 8 lbs from my lowest weight. I have been going up and down with these same 8 pounds for the last 3 months. And it is NOT because I have hit a plateau. Nope!
I know the reason...and the reason is because I have lost my focus. I do my best when I focus completely on my goal....and devote a lot of time to planning, posting to my weight loss groups, keeping a food journal, exercising, etc. And I have not been doing that. Granted there have been legitimate things come up that have needed my attention. But I should not have let go of this, my primary goal, so easily.
I did meet my goal of reducing my Blood Pressure and getting off meds, which is great, but I've still got to follow the Low Sodium plan and I still have 60 or so lbs to lose. And the terrible thing is that when I don't eat right I feel TERRIBLE....but I still do it anyway. Isn't that crazy!!! My feet swell, and I ache all over and my teeth get sensitive and my feet crack! And if I follow my plan.....none of that happens!!! I feel so much better!!!!!
I want to meet my weight loss goal and it MUST BE MY HIGHEST PRIORITY!!!
I am recommitting myself effective NOW! To doing ALL That I can do to achieve my goals!!!!!!
