Over this past weekend my boyfriend's parents came over to stay and visit. It was very stressful all weekend because, even though I finally got enough money to buy healthy food, his parents wanted to eat out to get a taste of the "real Wisconsin" experience. This of course, made things even more difficult for me to watch what I was eating, and was a REAL test of my own willpower.
In the end, I thought I just did "okay", I didn't do the best, but I tried the best that I could and that was what counted. I figured, "Okay, I messed up a little bit, all I can really do is get back on track again and keep doing what I've been doing."
Monday morning I weighed myself, and I actually ended up losing a pound. Hell yeah! It made me feel so excited and motivated! I went to the YMCA, and I did my normal routine plus a little bit extra. Just 3 more pounds and I get to enjoy my first reward!
