I start classes next Tuesday. Sometimes it feels a bit amazing to think that my goal since um, maybe I was 13, was to finish my master's one day- and in a year or so, I'll have it. You're right. Those girls can't be mommys forever. They need someting to fall back on when @ 45 their hubby trades them in for a younger model. SO they'll be middle aged with no educuation or job skills to fall back on.

It's funny to realize that in some ways the 60's and 70's never happened or at least no one cares what happened or was accomplished.
