I start classes next Tuesday. Sometimes it feels a bit amazing to think that my goal since um, maybe I was 13, was to finish my master's one day- and in a year or so, I'll have it. There were times when I really wondered if I would. And I got accepted for a grant- so it's all free! I'm already thinking of what it'll be like if/when I get my doctorate.
I'm a member of a couple silly communities that can be entertaining, like 'thequestionclub'. Lately, I've noticed a lot of girls aged 18-20 talking about how they just got engaged and how age is just a number and 'when you've met the one, you know' and wow, I want to shake them. 19 year olds shouldn't be married. They should be in college, drinking at parties every weekend and many nights a week, and making out with the most random assortment of men possible. I did, and it will make me the perfect wife one day.
