I'd thought I healed my foot well enough yesterday, but it seems to have swollen a bit overnight. I don't think I can fit it into my shoe, and even if I could, I doubt it'd be smart for me to go in to work where I'll have to be on my feet all day ( Read more... )

If you need someone to fill in, I can try it - I'm off today, and you really should stay in bed, or on the couch. I'll make dinner, too.

I'm certain Luna has some drawing things she wouldn't mind you using, if you wanted to sketch your ideas out? That might help Tom understand what you mean.

I do think it's a nice idea, though.

I can fetch you things if you need, then. I'm just working on a report today, which shouldn't take too long, really. And possibly doing some pruning. I could try being entertaining, however. And we could order out, since I'm actually not certain

Oh, I wouldn't want to interrupt your work! But maybe after you finish you could come keep me company for a bit before you do your pruning?

That sounds like a plan, really. It's just not easy to be laid up, is it? I was stranded in the Hospital Wing more than once in school. And sometimes now, really. I'm surprised that you were the one who Company goes a long way.

I'm glad you think so, given that you see quite a lot of me. I imagine it isn't very easy to live with people whose company you mind, and regrettably that seems to be somewhat common.

We've gotten very lucky in terms of agreeable flatmates!

Come to think of it, I had lovely roommates when I was at Hogwarts as well. I wonder how long this luck will keep up.

It must be a combined sort of luck - I was rather fond of my own roommates. We got on, at least.

I'm rather hoping it lasts a long while, myself. Good company makes up for quite a lot.
