Gimme Your Stuff
I ran across this website today, Gimme Your Stuff, which is basically the coolest thing ever. You sign up and swap stuff pertaining to your area with poeple from all around the world.
So without further ado... here's what I can swap:
-any sort of touristy thing from NYC
-postcards
-music
-accessories
-snacks
-stickers
-newspapers and magazines
-photographs
-american cartoon merchandise (disney, super heroes, etc)
What I'd be looking for are:
-snacks that are specific to your country
-photographs of your country
-postcards
-letters telling me a little about yourself (because I'm curious ^^)
-magazines from your country/in your native language
-crafts or anything cute
-cds of popular singers/bands from your country (burned is fine... in fact, I might prefer that, cause then I can see what you like to listen to!)
-anything culturally specific to where you live would be awesome :)
My list of what I'd be looking for and what I can give are not limited to the things I've listed - they're just what I can think of at the moment haha. So just ask if you're looking for something specific. As for me, everyone who knows me knows how interested I am in different countries/cultures, so I'd basically be happy with anything. :D Also, I'm kind of a history nut, so anything along those lines I'd basically die for lol.
