They planned all this for sure. First, the "cartoon KAT-TUN" show ends and then we're hoping that they would announce a new one, but instead it's news that there's going to be a world tour. What should have been a happy thing turns into confusion and frustration for many of us because we hear that it's going to be a 5 man tour and Jin will be doing a solo concert instead. I've read many comments and I think the majority of us feel quite disappointed and confused about all this.
I don't want to choose a side, but I can't help but feel the same as those that say it's mismanagement and planning and that Jin is doing the LA thing again. Firstly, I agree it's probably a once-in-a-lifetime thing for Jin to get to do a solo concert in LA, but did it really have to be at the same time as the group's concerts? Why couldn't they do the group tours first and then let Jin do his solo afterwards? Or maybe vice versa? The fact that he's asking for a VISA stay from May to October makes me think that it was his decision to opt out. Although it's still possible that it was the company that decided all this. Maybe they felt it would be unfair for the other members so they did this split thing? If that really was the case, they should consider how fans think. Fans want to see the group united. Also, despite news reporting how Kazuya said he was supportive and all, I'm not sure I'm buying all this. I doubt the members wouldn't have something to say regarding this. I mean look at all the jokes they throw here and there at times about someone leaving for LA. It has to have affected them in some way. Are we really considering everyone's feelings in this decision? I just think that this should have been planned a lot better especially if this is KAT-TUN's first "world" tour. Anyhow, I'm still going to support the group and hope that they can work things out and stay together, but these kind of news doesn't make me feel happy.
Also, what's going to happen to the album? Are we even getting one this year because if the upcoming group concerts are of 5 people only, does that mean the album is too? Or are we not going to get an album? There were so little singles last year, so if there's no album this year that would really suck.
Oh, on the bright side, I am happy that I got to go see their concerts last year for the first time. It would have totally sucked if this year happened to be my first time at the concerts. Argh, I still have to see if I can even go this year though. I want to see Kazuya again, but the schedule isn't looking good for me. There's also the decision if I should go to Jin's concert seeing that I am free during that week in June, but I really want to go to a KAT-TUN concert again. T_T Why did it have to be like this?
