Good things for 12/13 and 12/14
I skipped yesterday because I was lazy, so the highlights of yesterday included:
~Listening to La Streisand in the morning and begging my mom to see "Yentl," and then going Christmas shopping at a few thrift stores, finding great things INCLUDING *drumroll please* a DVD of "Yentl"! It's déja-vu, I tell you, a very serendipitous moment.
~Finding the "Desperate Housewives" soundtrack which is wonderful because not only do I love the show, the CD includes a song by none other than my favorite singer [hmm, wonder who that is?]
~Buying a pre-loved Our Generation doll to be re-wigged as Stirling Howard and finding Josefina's garnet necklace in the doll's t-shirt pocket!
~Adding Molly's Surprise to my AG book collection. I have it already, but this new one has the original illustrations.
~Buying a few "new to me" clothes. I needed more long-sleeved, wintry things.

The highlights of today are few and far between because I didn't exactly do much, but a friend came over for a holiday luncheon, and we exchanged Christmas presents. Since Christmas won't be much of a big deal this year, I opened my present early: a hunter green corduroy jacket!
