Hey! Thanks so much for another great picspam/commentary. I totally agree with most of what you said. In fact, the thing that bugged me the most about the last episode was the Lafayette/Sookie talk about Eric. Eric did NOT "force" Lafayette to take his blood. He may have had ulterior motives (the V sales? and getting in Sookie's good graces) but Lafayette's leg was infected! I was mad that they made Eric out to be such a bad guy. Sookie annoyed me the hell out of me during this conversation too because she was so anti-Eric. I know she is pissed about the bullet-sucking, but she just saw a really beautiful side of him and to act like he is a monster is just wrong. Lafayette's dreams may be terrible PTSD-stuff and super-sexual, but Sookie's dreams have been beautiful and INTIMATE (not super-sexual at all). There was no aknowledgement of this at all during the conversation. grrrrr.

Agree that Eric in Lettie-Mae dress was sexy as hell. To pull that off, AS must have mad skills in the hotness department (to quote you)! :)

I don't think she was necessarily anti-Eric per say. She was just like "yea in the past he totally needed to be slapped and I totally did it!" lol.
And I think if I were her I wouldn't really want to talk about what a great guy Eric is in front of Lafayette, considering everything.
Although they definitely shouldn't have made it seem like Eric giving Lafayette his blood was a bad thing. Because it was kind of an over-the-top AMAZING thing.

I don't think Sookie's really prepared to discuss the nature of her dreams with anyone just yet. haha but did you see her face?

LOL! I am sooooo over-sensitive when it comes to Eric :) I am in love-lust, what can I say?

You are right about Sookie not wanting to talk all lovely about Eric in front of Lafayette. The whole Eric-tricked-Lafayette-thing blindsided me, so I came away with a really negative feeling about that whole scene. Re-watching it on youtube has calmed me a bit :)

I was just hoping she would give some kind of look/sign that showed us that her dreams were a little different. Her face when she asked about the dreams was pretty cute, but they didn't show her reaction to Lafayette's description of his dreams-- so they kind of left that out there.

Well, I wouldn't say at all. Even when she remembers the bullet sucking in book 8 (when they have an actual blood bond going on and are much closer) she still gets pissed about it. I think she'll always be a little bit annoyed.

It doesn't mean she hates him, lol but I'm sure she's bothered.

I think she was always attracted to him but...the blood definitely did help with the staring, there's no doubt about that.

But I'm certain she no longer thinks he's a deceitful asshole. That doesn't mean she's 100% turned around though.
