Things are falling into place
Yeah, I know. Don't smart mouth me. I know. I never update.
And I'm not going to make a promise to "update more often" like I always do. Cuz you know what? I probably won't. And then in 3 months I'll be purusing my flist and say to myself, "You know what? The LJ Universe doesn't know what's going on with me. I should update." And I will. And that is that.

I'm in LA!
I'm only working one job!
I can officially say I'm an actor/dancer... or more of a dancer/actor, but yeah!
LA is good.
Better than it was when I last updated. Not that things were bad, but they are better now. I have focused in more on my goal here in LA, which is why I quit at DADA. I didn't move out here to answer phones, you know? I came out here to dance and act, and I couldn't go to auditions because I was always working. If I wanted to answer phones and teach dance, I could have done that in Houston and stayed at home, you know? Since I left DADA a couple of weeks ago, I've gotten my headshots duplicated and all ready for mass mailings, I'm doing pieces in a couple of dance shows: one contemporary piece and one tap one, and I have gotten a Commercial agent. Well, the agency isn't official yet; I have been offered representation, but I don't know if I'm going to sign the contract yet or not.
Last time I wrote, I also had woes of friendship/acquaintance-ship. Or lack thereof.
Also has gotten better. Chili's folk are still there and still Chili's-like, but outside of them, I have a few of the acquaintances from the last post whom I consider friends now, so that's a good thing. And now I have time to hang out with alleged new friends, so that's good too.
All in all, things are sort of starting to fit together out here.
