So, the new company has a super cool policy of study groups everyweek; Pick a topic, bring food, sugar, and caffeine, put the geeks in a room and see what happens ;-)
Unfortunately, there's only limited copies of the book for the material we are looking at tomorrow, so tonight is a *major* cram session ... Fortunately, it's about analysis patterns for financial sysetms (I have the advantage of having worked in an accounting office, and having done design work on a financials system).
Add onto that a security (computer and network) mailing list I got myself onto, and the 4" security cert book that I finally picked back up after ignoring it for a while, and I'm in GeekByDay mode 24/7 right now :S
Tomorrow night will be different, presentation by friend of a friend, completely non-geek related, will post details in a further LJ.
Toronto restaurants on the todo list for the next 3-4 weeks: Jamie Kennedy's, Xen (I think that's one of the sushi places, have to check the name).
