When I first saw the "Gangnam Style" video I couldn't help but laugh at how silly it seemed.  But could not deny that it was a catchy tune attached to some epically awkward choreography.  Did not think too highly of it other than that.  After the viral success, it made it's way to mainstream radio, and I'm like "seriously?" but remember that it was a catchy energy pumping tune so I accepted it.  Then Psy continued to guest perform on so many different hot shows and I realized that everyone in the audience is just so excited and happy to sing and dance along.  I may be ignorant to the translation of the lyrics of the song, but it still looked like a harmless fun time, so nothing to be mad about.  In fact, that massive amount of positive energy its something to embrace.

and then, THIS happened.  I'm actually wondering how did this thought never come about before?!!  Catchy hook and flamboyant dance moves?  HELLO?!?!  How can we Americans have forgotten about MC Hammer?  He's been out of the spotlight for a long time now, but he still marched up onto that stage and owned it.  and the audience goes nuts!  as they should.

Although these songs are kind of cheesy (and i mean that with all the positivity possible, because I am a big fan of cheesy), the fact that these guys had so much confidence in everything they did is just a complete win and success in my eyes.

And I'll admit, this performance might be life changing for me.  From now on, I'll be too legit to quit (or avoid) any obstacle life will throw at me, and I'll be sure to tackle those obstacles with tons of Gangnam style.
