Bushels of blueberries
That is what I hope to have stocked in my freezer by the end of summer... bushels of fresh blueberries. On Friday I'm going to a nursery called Skipley Farm in Snohomish to buy some blueberry plants. A New Look for a New Year
I like making my resolutions in February... it means I have fewer months to fail to achieve them.
My 2010 resolution: to start a garden and grow some of my own food, dammit!

A Couple of Paintings
I recently finished a couple of paintings for our house. They're both copies of paintings by two artists whose work I admire. If I see something that I like when I'm on ArtPosters.com or some other arty site, I just paint a version of it for myself. I suppose one of these days I should try painting an original landscape or still life.
