And now icons with Merlin BBC, made for the Round 4 at inspired20in20. It was the very first time when I joined such type of community and what can I say - it really works! :D It not only challenged me to look for inspiration within the given theme, but also inspired me to try new styles, colourings or cropping.
I'll post the icons first and then explain the theme :). All icons are from series 4.

The overall theme was seasons but we were also given various pictures, words, quotes and songs. At first I thought that I could just show four seasons but in the end I decided to use all types of prompts ( here's the inspiration post). Here's my explanation:
1. A word - pale.
2. General theme and textures by twinstrike.
3. General theme and a word - icy.
4. Lyrics of the song In The Winter by Janis Ian - It was an accident | I never dreamed we'd meet again this way | You're looking well | I'm not afraid | You have a lovely home | Just like a picture | No, I live alone
5. The quote from An Affair to Remember - Winter must be cold for those with no warm memories.
6. Yellow-green picture of the meadow here.
7. The textures by sintonia and warm autumn colours.
8. The gorgeous green picture of the forest here.
9. General theme and a word - travel.
10. A word - cool.
11. A word - hot.
12. General theme and the lyrics of the song October by Delores O'Riordan - I'm going through changes | I see you again | I'm moving in circles | I'm trying to come in
