ayyyyyy carumba!
today throughout lessons I was so restless and just looking forward to self-training...super glad I had quality time with edith to improve our chemistry :D I realised the reason I'm bringing my stick to school every other day is not so much to improve skills, but to play while I still can :)
after that we got milo and chilled on the amphi steps. super enjoyed edith's company, smell of rain, the darkness of overcast skies, insane mini-piano recitals outside the robotics room, the hubbub of activity in the amphi...C Div RI floorball came over to train for some reason so we watched them and ARGH SO CUTE!! little boys always make my day :') then you compare tay yang (hahaha lea: YANG YANG TAY YANG) and ryan to them and just wow how do boys get from that to that growing up is pretty miraculous. after that we watched frisbee play with passion and elegance. the way they jump and land, the way they can make the frisbee do the thing where it swerves from one end of the amphi to the other end in a slanted curve...:) and after that admired tay yang's cray cray air hook screening ARGH. plus zzm and ryan's super nice mid and top drag shots. i promise myself that if i play floorball in uni i want to do an air hook by my second year!!
and all the while easy talking with edith :) really precious. some conversation are the joker kind (like with yeo min and kaicong during econs lecture today), some are the get to know you kind (like with vivek aaron hakeem during break), and some are the remind each other how blessed and lucky we are kind like with edith :') realised i am so lucky to have had the most amazing cca experiences in 45th and rjfb. realised we both are so lucky to play this season as our second and not our first. realised how lucky we were to train with the amazing seniors last year and to watch the guys in our batch play. she told me about her magical 10k experience with lea wow. also about how her teacher asked 'who wants to do medicine' and everyone in her class raised their hand siao!! not a bad thing, just intense pressure sia. made me realise how lucky i was to realise that one fateful night that chem is NO and end up in this class. because we don't take chem no one can do medicine and everyone's possible life paths are so different...
