The Sunday Rounds, Volume 122
I have been drinking coffee from a hotel room coffee maker and, as you might guess, this entry is being done away from home. (And, yeah, the coffee kinda tastes like ass, kthanks.)
I'm as well rested as I've been in a long, long time; 2 nights in a row of getting 8 hours of sleep (hello!). I also have seafood hangover after dining on an endless stream of crab and shrimp. As such, I'm going to lay off the usual 'Rounds' this morning. Diatribes on politics, Britney Spears' latest dive into the deep end, the big Forsberg trade (NHL), and some CD I think is awesome that you will never buy will have to wait until next Sunday.
I will, however, mention that my niece and two nephews -- particularly the 4 year-old nephew -- are so friggin' adorable they will leave you in pain from laughing so hard. (Seriously, my nephew, Matty, will be a future entry on to himself because he is just a cuddly little freak of nature that I am fairly convinced came to Earth from another planet.)
As always, visits to my parents are rich in carbs, low in protein, high in love, with wine that I am not drinking flowing like a river, and children getting spoiled beyond what should be legally allowed.
I'm out like Kenny Chesney outta be.
