YEAH!!!............AWWW CRAP
Pens played the Flyers today.... We beat them in a shoot out... (yikes it was CLOSE, which was really scary!) Crosby is still 2 points away from 100 points this year. He just became the youngest player to record 200 points the other day, beating Wayne Gretzky by 40 days! I ♥ Sid.
Then the Canucks played the Wild. The Wild just happen to be Dominic Moore's new team! I was thrilled to hear that Dom had been given number 22!!! =D So I got really excited to hear that he was in town. In fact I almost went to the game, but I'm REALLY glad I didn't because Dom was a healthy scratch for tonight! *pouts I didn't get to hear him play* (but I had a nap today and was able to take in a really cute dream about him! *cuddles*) The Wild are back in Vancouver next week, and that one is televised, I'll hopefully get to watch it, and if not, I'll go to the games next season!
The Pittsburgh fund is coming along! :whoo!: I hope to buy my plane ticket in late September, early October, and then get our hockey tickets whenever they go on sale.
I've been wanting to change the look of my LJ for quite some time, but I've not had the inspiration to make anything pretty :(
Megs is probably going to come out to Vancouver when the Pens play the Canucks next season! I'm WAY excited for this, I only wish Hills could make it too. :( ALSO! Megs is set on coming to Vancouver for the Olympics! I think we may end up setting camp outside GM Place ;) I've got rooting for Canada and Russia instead of the USA! =D So, as long as Sidney makes team Canada (yikes barring injury *knock on wood* he better make the time or ELSE! ;) ) and Evgeni Malkin and Alexander Ovechkin make team Russia she and I will be pleased as punch!
Still no news on if Friday Night Lights will be picked up for a second season..... *worries* The first season ends in April... It's getting close.
I also heard that Heroes will be starting a new volume next season.... which means NEW characters, and a new story line!! How crazy is that! I really hope it doesn't go the direction of LOST and the 'others'. We all know how horribly that has turned out.
Speaking of Lost, how funny was the car bit? hehee!
Eragon comes out on dvd in a couple weeks... I'm excited there are going to be deleted/extended scenes....it might make me like the movie a bit more!
The trailer for Georgia Rule (Garrett Hedlund's new movie with Lindsay Lohan) should be out soon... should be interesting... I HOPE.
Discovered a new band I LOVE! Shinedown... sorta similar to a Three Days Grace, Nickleback, Chevlle sound. I LOVE the song Burning Bright! I could listen to it for hours, heck.. I have!
