Narnia

I saw The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe today with Lee, David, Nina, and Jeff. I really enjoyed the film and it's one I'd like to own. Now on to my story,
After the film the people behind me were trying to analyze what the White Witch was. I got tired of this because it was dumb and I yelled "It's Easter". They didn't hear and kept being slow, so I turned around and explained it
They still didn't quiet get it. Nina, Lee, and David jumped in also. That was when they finally got it. Then they questioned why it was set around World War II. We had to explain that's around when he wrote the book.
I'm telling myself the audience in the movie was all Jewish (we saw it in Glendale, CA). The audience cheered at moments that they shouldn't have if they knew anything about the story or had read the books. I apologize to any of my Jewish friends who may have been offended by that comment, but the Easter story was being beaten over your heads in the film. Also after the film, I wanted to know who voiced Aslan. People were standing up in front of the screen and wouldn't move. I was highly upset by that. The guy in front of us was on his cell phone the entire film.
Good movie though
