well, as usual, i'm not up to school these days; but now i've got it bad. i won't even do homework, not even half-heartedly. i blame senioritis.
today my mom took me to the passport place to-- guess what?-- get a passport... heh. well we went to arabian library, cuz that's where the passport place is (don't ask questions), and when we arrived, a firedrill was going on and this lady was like 'come out here. there's a firedrill going on.' she barely even noticed us; i barely even noticed her! but my mom's like "do we know that woman?" i'm like, "uh... no?" and she's like "is she--? oh my gosh! it is! [blah blah]" turns out it was an old nurse who took care of my baby brother when he was young... man it was a sight. she was all crying and everything... she (the nurse) said she missed us and was just recently wondering where we were and stuff (we haven't seen her in ten years). i'm surprised they remember each other. guess they were really close. but yeah, she was all rambling and she told us that she adopted a chinese baby, kind of in honor of us. i was flattered. they're coming over to our house for chinese new year's and i can't wait to see the girl. the nurse said that she was gonna name her child after me just cuz of my pretty name... aww lol... but then she didn't. (no aw).
speaking of meeting old friends, i saw my eighth grade english/social studies teacher last weekend at souper salad. when i first saw her i was like "is that her?" but she didn't recognize me so i thought "oh maybe not." but after i put my name card down, she recognized me and said "so eden, do you rememeber me?" it was cute. she was a cool teacher. i think i'll officially name today as "Reacquaintance Day." go reacquaint with someone right now! honor my beautiful day.
so yeah. here i am, eagerly waiting for a letter to be sent to me... man i wish i could control time. that way, i could pause the world while i sleep and then do my homework or what not and not be all frickin worried about time. that'd be awesome. even more awesome than flying.
