Art Pix as Promised :)
These are some of the many pix I had in my college entrance portfolio, which immediately got me into Ringling School of Art and Design. I finally scanned them this morning to post them as promised. I hope you ajoy them as much as I enjoyed making them :).
This is a still life of my cat named Boo. I drew and painted this picture while watching him sleep one night. This piece was done in pastels and watercolors.
This is another still life of a single bottle drawn in different postions and angles, layers as a collage. I drew this piece in my senior year art class as a project and was drawn in colored pencils.
This is a portrait of Jimi Hendrix, another project for class, where I had to draw from a photo and use a grid to draw it. It was done in pencil as well.
This is a portrait of my cousin Max that I drew when he was around 14. I painted it in watercolors from a photo I took of him one summer.
This is one of my favorite pictures because I love drawing women's faces. I drew this in charcoal without using a picture to draw from.
Finally this is a pop art piece I drew in class, again for another assignment. I really like how the colors turned out in this piece. It was painted in acrylics.
