Willow hates the sinking feeling she gets as she watches the emotion on Angel’s face turn from triumphant jubilation to bleak despair. He knows why she’s there without either of them having to say a word. After all why else would the Slayer’s witch being in LA? It’s not as if the two groups have really worked together since Angel left Sunnydale, still Willow can’t help but wish that the first thing that crosses his mind isn’t that Buffy’s fallen, even if she has. The others melt away into the background as Angel asks one important question of her, “How?”
