She had literally gone to bed one night and woken up the next morning feeling completely different. Faith was stronger than ever before and as she stared at the monster in front of her, she instinctively knew that she could destroy it. The woman who had accosted her earlier that day hadn’t been lying when she had told her that she had a destiny to fulfill. And if it meant that slaying vampires allowed her to be in charge of her life, well then Faith would and could accept her new destiny with open arms. Never again would someone be able to use their power to take advantage of her. She had her own power and as she drove the stake into her first vampire, Faith rejoiced in her new destiny.
