Faith had always been hungry, whether it was the physical pang of hunger from having an empty belly for too long or the emotional hunger for love and belonging. It was never enough for the brunette Slayer when she was well fed or loved, because she was always hungry for more. She was always concerned where her next meal would be coming form or the other person’s reason for loving her. Becoming a Slayer meant that her would always be filled because she had the physical strength to take what she wanted it when she wanted it. Even the motto that she told Buffy said it all: “Want. Take. Have.”
Faith Lehane was never satisfied, and when she met Buffy Summers she had felt an immediate kinship with her sister Slayer. But soon the friendship wasn’t enough for Faith. She wanted to become Buffy with her loving mother and sister, her caring and protective Watcher, her sexy and dangerous boyfriend, and her adoring and faithful friends. The desire literally consumed the brunette and even after she turned to the Mayor, the desire to be Buffy was still present and it still drove her.
