For as long as she can remember, Faith has always been trying to fill the long hours of the day until the night. When she was younger, it had meant that she could escape to the sanctuary of her room where she could dream of a better life like the ones all the fairy tale heroines seemed to have. When she got older and had abandoned her fairy tales, night gave her the freedom to do what she wanted. Now that she was a Slayer, the night gave her a purpose in her life. The day was just the time that she slept and waited while waiting for the one time when she came alive and actually lived.
