It seems that my outlining skills leave something to be desired. Because I frequently underestimate just how many words it's going to take to get through scenes. If I actually divided up my chapters the way that I have them outlined in this story, I think they'd all end up clocking in at around 18,000 words a piece ( Read more... )

I love the Olympics. But I hate that the coverage doesn't start until 8:00 at night. That's prime "spending an hour putting the kid to bed" time!
