i moved into the new apartment last weekend with Kevin... Nate and Alex (his friends) aren't moving in until August...so it's just us until then. and we totally picked the best room. i am so glad to be out of my old place, with pfft, antonio. i've also been sleeping really well here, like dead sleep, and we joke that the awesome deal i got on the mattress actually makes me sleep better on it -- ($20 for a slightly used [not gross used mattress used, really, slightly used] $400 ikea mattress... my cheap jeweyness comes out.)
other than our room the place is sort of a disaster, moving boxes everywhere still, and we're not planning on getting any other furniture for the living room until Nate and Alex move in, too.
it's a little weird for me, living with someone who i actually want to spend time with and who i know wants to spend time with me.... after spending the last two years shuffling between roommates who i liked varying degrees, but never felt close to... moving away from the insecurities, the fake friendships, passive aggressive battles with people who i never liked at all. it's an unfamiliar feeling, but certainly not a bad one.
this has been making the rounds on my friends list, and i've been bad and haven't been asking other people questions, but I'm trying to get around to it. in the meantime:
Ask me anything, up to three questions. They can be generic questions about food I like to eat, or something deep and dark about my past, or anything in between. Whatever you want, ask it here. I will answer every question truthfully.
