I have been home since Wednesday and only managed to get 11 pages done. My goal was 15, and I have to say I'm only slightly disappointed in myself. But you know what, I don't care. I'm one of the only people with an A in that class so he has no reason to doubt my ability to write this paper. The only person I'm hurting by not finishing the draft is myself, but I have complete confidence in my paper-writing abilities, so no worries. I had good naps, good shoe shopping, good sudoku, good sushi with friends, and freaking awesome Elvis Costello and the thing isn't due for another 3 weeks. I can get it done.
By the way, if anyone out there secretly loves Jessica Simpson shoes but will not buy them because, well, they're Jessica Simpson shoes, it turns out they are actually made by BCBG. It healed my soul a little bit when the sales dude told me that.
