I have been known to constantly make the same mistake over and over. During dinner with a friend tonight it hit me that I am beginning to learn a lot faster when something isn't right. I have no idea how it happened, whether it is an age thing or whatever, but it is comforting to know that maybe for once in my life I can start recognising the initial signs of me getting hurt and get the fuck out before it's too late.
