Hmmmm...my kitchen calendar says the first day of summer was yesterday, the 20th, but my other calendar says today. I had argued with a guy yesterday about it, he said it was always on the 21st...the first day of summer and of winter, but on the news they're were saying how it was the first day on the 20th. Somebody's screwy. Doesn't really matter I suppose, as long as it's here.
Thank you, Jesus, for letting me have sense enough to not take a summer class towards my Master's. A friend of mine did and she's turned into a two-headed monster and her husband's ready to divorce her and her poor little 3 year old boy has been hiding at his grandfather's house. She is so stressed and I want to help but I'm afraid to speak, she might explode. Anyway, I probably needed to take at least one class, I think there are a couple that are offered only in the summer, but I'm so ecstatically happy that I didn't.
