Still, perhaps they really could change the future. And if so she knew she needed to remain optimistic. Anakin would need her. She had to be strong.
"I heard there was a library here," she replied, standing and pulling her navy shawl around her. She was dressed prepared for anything, and that meant pants instead of a dress. While she trusted Obi-Wan would protect her, she wanted to be able to hold her own as well. "I thought it might be worth a look."
And, really, she just wanted someone to speak to about what weighed so heavily on her shoulders.

It took some getting used to flipping through pages and not holograms and touch pads, but Obi-Wan didn't mind. It just made the culture all the more fascinating, seeing where the differences lay. And it was certainly a good distraction from thoughts of the future, no matter how he might want to vent his concerns. Once they were outside of the ship, he took a moment to marvel at the castle.
"It's so grand," he remarked. "I wonder how long it took them to build this."
As far as he knew, technology here wasn't near as advanced as it was in their galaxy. Was it build by hand? The thought was stunning, even moreso as he looked out over the landscape as they crossed the bridge leading to the castle. There was a village a few kilometers out, but otherwise, it seemed so isolated.
