Politics The Second

Bush is so lucky to have Cheaney as his Vice-President.

I'd leave it at that, but of course I have more to say.

So I watched the Vice-Presidential debate last night, and I have to say I was impressed. I've always taken Cheaney for an asshole that just attacks everyone, but he actually did really well. I don't mind him too much. However, Edwards ( Read more... )

as i have said before;either way...we're fucked
there is so much more to politics and government than 2 head puppets shoving a bucket full of empty promises into the american public's face.

anyways;we really have no say in who gets elected;its more of a facade to make the public believe they have more say in the matter than in reality.

Bush has already won;he won the day his father was elected
we're fucked

there is no way to stop his pathetic power-trip
he wont stop fucking up this country until the rest of the world has their guns collectively pointed at our head

then?

boom

Fuck Bush;Fuck Kerry
Fuck Cheany;Fuck Edwards

they're all a bunch of overpaid pompous pricks who have no fucking clue how much they're fucking up.

oh well......

Yeah, I'm fine. My buttons have just been pushed by the same people over and over, and this was the last strike for me.

I agree. I think the election is already won, but that doesn't mean it can't be changed. If we got rid of the electoral college, Democrats would probably do a lot better.

But of course, that's never happening.

I'll vote for you when you run in 2024.

as a washington resident and a contract employee of the governemtn I find that view of yours to be defeatest. Fist of all people do hav a say as was clear that last time it was decided by so few votes. Secondly to say that the whole process is rigged kinda hurts my feelings as a person who has great faith in the democratic system.

thats nice and all;but I for one do and have the right to doubt this nations "democratic" system...which is run by republicans...but again;u can believe what you want to,im not out to change anyone's opinions or views...im simply stating my own

and perhaps your just a little biased in favor of the government seeing as you work directly for them?

but again...to each their own

as a life long democart and history buff I think that your view is flawed. I believe strongly in your rigth to say what you want, I'll never take that from you but I ask you at what point did the republicans start running the governemtn. And also if they do run the show how come they have sucha ahrd time passing their agenda?

well i for one,am glad knowing we have people of your intellectual caliber in our government.
(just thought i would get that out of the way)

now,the "democarts" as you might call them are just one of the nations powers...the other major power being the republicans;now i ask you, which of these factions does our beloved(please note the sarcasm resident in the italics) leader belong to ( ... )

you have very small font which is hard to read. From what I can tell you seem to be one of those guys who hides in a cave and thinks the the FBI is there to get him. I know that bush is a rep[ublican and I know far more about the politcal sytem that the majority of people that I talk to. I have been observing it first hand for the past 15 years. Regardless I think that you still did not answer my question as to when teh republicans becamse the force behind the governemtn. Clinton was up against a conservative supreme court (still in power) and a conservative congress and managed to do quite well. The otther question I cautiously pose is what would you do differntly? Do you even vote? If you dont then you have lost your right to complain as far as I am concerned

I for one do not think the government is out to get me;i am insignificant in the grander scheme of things (right now anyways);and yes,i did answer your question,u seem to be missing what im saying;so to quote my previous response ( ... )

your solutions sound liek a carbon copy of the KErry PLatform. I think those are both good ideas but neither would free the governemtn of corruption. I have a good solution but it would take redoing the whole sonstitution. wanna hear it?

while in idea it does sound identical;i have given no specifics...what i would do (i believe) would be far different than what kerry would deliver;and i never said that what i would do would rid the government of all corruption, because to say that would be nothing but a blantant lie;there would need to be alot done to rid the government of corruption and it would never be 100%

and go for it;but the constitution is nothing but a piece of paper that can basically be burnt if the president were ever to initiate executive order #10990 or
Executive Order # 10995
Executive Order # 10997
Executive Order # 10998
Executive Order # 11000
Executive Order # 11001
Executive Order # 11002
Executive Order # 11003
Executive Order # 11004
Executive Order # 11005
Executive Order # 11051
Executive Order # 11310
Executive Order # 11049
Executive Order # 11921

sooo yeah;go for it.

ok simply put the money is the problem. He who can reign in the cash flow can stop the corruption. First thing to do would be to make it so that no representative or senator could vote for anythign that sends money to his state or district. they would have to convince everyone else that what they wanted was good enough for the whole country. Secondly to prevent vote trading limit the total number of votes tha they can cast a session therefore making it more importnat to be presnt for everythign and to hold your votes for things more worthwhile. That simple adjustment would help stem the domestic pork barrel shit that eats billions. As for foreign policy it should follow since the people runnign for office will not be poepl e who work for specail interests they will be more responsible to their constituants and therefore the country as a whole would haev better say over the policy of our nation.

attacking my patriotism is rediculous. I can say wht you want or you can move where you want or do what you want I cant stop you but appreciate what you have here or take your ass to russia and see how corrupt and unethical is can really be.

no;im not attacking YOUR patriotism;im attacking PATRIOTISM in general; patriotism is basically an excuse for ignorance;saying shit like "if u dont like it then leave" when if u look at the original "patriots" they didn't leave;they fought for change,so PLEASE don't give me that "im a patriot;go america;if u don't like it then leave" bullshit because that is one of the most pathetic things i've witnessed in my 17 years of existence ( ... )

I think it is funnt hat you idolize England. Tony blair was asked why he though so highly of amerca and he said "llok how many poeple wanna get into amerca and look how amny poeple wanna leave" you wanna talk about arogance or sorruption how is hiding billoins in stolen gold for the Nazi's good job swiss people. I think tht you have a lot of time to learn as young as you are I once was told if you arent a liberal by the time you are 21 or conservative by 35 there is something wrong with you. I am glad that you seem to intersted in politics but I think you should observe the process even ona local level. Run for office. There is a seventten yer old girl runnign in some state I forget for mayor and is the from runner with write ins. Watch some Cspan, get out from behind your cloud of insufferable arrogance and come to washington. I will personally give you tour of the city and try to give you a chance to see how the goernment works. My point still stand that thought the origanl patriots fought I wouldnt recomend armed ( ... )

lmao;funny....i dont remeber saying...or implying that i idolize england;i merely think its a better place to live than america is. yeah;the swiss have stolen nazi gold...gold stolen from the rest of europe;thats not much compared to the amount of funds funneled to and fro the american government and the drug trades of south america...or the oil pipelines thru afghanistan n such;but hey,you idolize america appearently, which is one of the most pompous yet common mistakes i see many make; i idolize no country;no governing body ( ... )
