Happy belated glendaglamazon! Every time we hang out, I'm always left with real, common-sense perspective and wry humor. So fucking excited that events are falling into place. Go West or go bust. ;)
This week I have been attracted to everyone and everything. Men, women, children, reality TV stars. I went to a Rosh Hashanah party on Wednesday and found myself flirting with a couple and day dreaming that they were inviting me to a threesome when they asked if I wanted to share a cab home. Ha! My apologies for the TMI. When the IT guy brought his daughter into work, my heart instantly melted with love and adoration. And worst of all? I TOO have fallen for the Real World's Cohutta and his mystical charm. I find the playground antics between him and Kelly Anne to be reminiscant of old skool Julie and Eric from the first season in NYC. They are SO freaking cute I can't even stand it. And the best part? Isaac is cock-blocking because he KNOWS it's inevitable. *hearts*

College/Pro football winding up (my FL Gators and Baltimore Ravens, thankfully, nuetralize my NY Giants sucker punch of DEATH) and baseball into the playoffs (fucking GO ALREADY Red Sox!!). I love this time of year, sports wise. LOVE IT.
OK. I hope I am not posting into the abyss and that SOMEONE (please!! Surely Univision/Telemundo was included in every basic cable package back then!!) has to remember the megahit Mexican soap/franchise "Alcanzar Una Estrella I & II" (To Reach a Star) from 1990-1992. I can only describe it as a fusion of Saved by the Bell (cheesy production quality and teen demographic), American Idol (singing, dancing and touring) and 90210 (soap writing, cult following, and backstage antics). The show was Ricki Martin's first foray into acting and it launched his solo career post-Menudo. The soap's fake-band 'Munecos De Papel'(Paper Dolls) actually produced a real pop group and several hit songs and tours. And! It taught me real conversational Spanish the summer of 1991, lol.
Anyway. I found clips on youtube which instigated my fall down the rabbit hole because I then HAD research and find pics of the old cast.
