Finally finished Blackadder!
I watched Goodbyeee today. For the first time, actually - it was one of the ones I hadn't seen before I got the box set, and since I decided to watch them in order naturally I left it to the end.
It's so sad! So moving, and so sad. And so brilliant. Absolutely brilliant. An amazing piece of historical television.
Of course, it's not all sad. Just the end. "I'm scared, sir. I'm the last of the Trinity's Tiddlers. I don't want to die. I'm not overly keen on dying at all, sir."
Poor George. Poor Baldrick. Poor Blackadder, and poor Darling.
...Then I had to watch Back and Forth, to remind myself that there was still hope. It's just as good now as last time: The dialogue is brilliant as always, Blackadder's velvet suit is absolutely goluptious, and Stephen looks pretty natty.
Now I'll be going back and watching episodes at random, and possibly the Cavalier Years.
Must update my userinfo again. And I need a Blackadder icon.
