As
tiemeinbows mentioned in the previous entry, we've decided to kick off February with our top ten favorite stories featuring Alex and Isabel. It was definitely hard trying to narrow it down to only ten, but ha we did it. :) Feel free to add your own top ten as we're always looking for something else to enjoy.
1.
Love and the Single Woman by StargazerUK.
I think the hardest part was having to choose just ONE of David's stories for my top ten. LOL This is by far my favorite from his many portrayals of Alex and Isabel. Plus who doesn't love little Katie?
2. Love whammy by Anniepoo98
I love the humor in this story, and who hasn't tried a love spell at least once in their lives. *winks*
3.
Absolution by Rowedog.
I got to say I was a bit afraid to read this story because of the premise, but once I got into it I couldn't stop reading. It's dark, it's twisty, and dang it sometimes a girl needs a bit of angst. I adore the fact that she doesn't sugar coat anything, rather its startling and realistic as possible. Bring the kleenex and the chocolates.
4.
Still Yours by Kzinti Killer (WIP)
This is pretty much the first Crossover that I've ever read. Pretty much the first Crossover I've ever read and I'm pretty sure the only one that I've ever read. I know it's not complete, but what an awesome story thus far.
5.
Maybe I'm Amazed by Kath7
I love Kath's portrayal of Alex and Isabel. It takes me back to what I love most about these two characters. Every time I read it, I'm always left with the thought, "dude, where's the rest of it." LOL
6.
Something Worth Waiting for by Sternbetrachter.
One of the first stories of Trude that I've read and easily enough my favorite.
7.
Shadows by Fallen Magic
More of an ensemble piece if you will, but definitely one of the best portrayal of Alex that I've seen. I love this story not only because of her characterizations of Alex and Isabel, but the other characters are just as great and pretty soon you find yourself sucked right in.
8.
Happenstance by Angel (WIP)
What if the podsters had left in the Pilot as they had originally planned? How would the characters be all grown up? Again it's another ensemble piece, but the Gazer moments are worth it. The characters aren't those teenagers that we saw on the show, rather more mature versions of them if none of the other events after the Pilot had taken place. It's interesting to see the new level of maturity but also catch glances of their teenage selves and what could have been.
9.
Before You Leave by Dreamerlaure
I don't think I have the words to describe this one, except "oh wow." Definitely a must read if you haven't read it.
10.
Everything Short of Clarity by Stargazing101 (WIP)
Once again I was torn between choosing just ONE story. LOL
