I've seen the first episode and it grossed me out big time... I'm probably just not into "these kind of shows"... too much blood and then the thing with the puppies. Only the thought of it really killed me inside... I love animals and pets in every way and I found that quite cruel... I think this show proved me once again why I'm not watching horror movies at all. Because I'm just not into them and I'm not into "realistic stuff" like that... when this happens in "Grimm" or before in "Supernatural", i find it quite scary, but not that I'm all "OMG I can't sleep now" but this show is... well... "too much" for me... But I mean, that's just me and I'm not saying it's a bad show... just too violent for my personal taste... And I know a lot of people enjoy the show... so yeah...

Didn't know it will only have 15 episodes, though... but that's good then, right? No chance of a 2nd season? :)

I just don't get grossed out by a lot of what's on tv. I just find this entire story so compelling. And yes, I am a pet owner and it's horrible what people do to animals but...I don't know..

And I think horror movies are all just...stupid... I just think there's a difference between a thriller (which I do like) and horror. A thriller is suspenseful, not scary to me and a horror is intentionally supposed to scare the audience.

I know it's not a show for everyone, but I like it.

Kevin Bacon only wanted to do 15 episodes so that he would still have time to work on films. Not sure if there will be a second season, but I think it's a very good possibility.

I've heard this show was really great but I'm gonna have to go with BM_shipper on this one - I've read the Wikipedia page on this and as much as I love some of the people involved, I don't think it's for me. BUT I'm thrilled you're enjoying it and that it's brilliant :D

And I had no idea Kevin Bacon only wanted 15 epis...is that total for the show or just a season?

I am always intrigued by shows like this. I don't know why. There isn't much that grosses me out or scares me anything. Although I think horror movies in general are stupid. There's a difference between a quality thriller (which I love) and just plain horror with very little plot -- the "Let's see how many ways we can gross people out and kill people in this film!" mentality.

Each season will only be 15 episodes...Kevin Bacon wanted that so he'd still have time to work on films.

Oh I'm intrigued, but there are some epis of Criminal minds that I have to skip through parts /o\

Oh good for him.'

And I agree on the torture porn, I"m not into movies like that. Give me a good thriller any day.

Clearly there's an audience for horror -- how many of those Final Destination movies are there (and Paranormal Activity). The thrillers I like are more about the characters in extraordinary situations, not films/tv made just for the gross out factor.

I'm glad you're enjoying it. I think it's fascinating. It has me on the edge of my seat every week. Kevin Bacon and James Purefoy are both fantastic in it and I like that you can never tell you who is and isn't one of Carroll's followers.
